Arteluthe, a Canadian audio product manufacturer that is based in Montreal, Canada, has just announced three new loudspeakers - Satie, Alegria, and Kantate. All three models are stated as having the same AirForce acoustic platform and are fully active with DSP.
The cabinet for each model contains two drivers (a tweeter and a midrange-woofer) with each driver paired to an amplifier, ranging from 175-350W, depending on the model. The DSP engine is clocked at 24-bit/96kHz and has a flash memory with four selectable presets. Frequency response for all models is 35 Hz to 20 000 Hz. Connections are via XLR balanced input/output with a mater gain control and a universal power supply. Speaker cabinets are made in Canada using Canadian maple plywood and high-density fiber panels.
The Satie is the entry-level model and has a MSRP of $7999 per pair. The Satie was first unveiled at the Salon Son & Image show that was held in Montreal this past March. Pricing on the Alegria and Kantate are yet to be announced. Look for more details to be shared soon at www.arteluthe.com.
