I think Acurus is soon releasing a new processor.
I would like to see Canadahifi do an in depth review of Cary Audio Cinema12.
I used the 706v with Rega Mira3 and Apollo CDP and the results were quite good, IMO. At the time I was using Kimber interconnects and it really smoothed out the sound even more.
Am looking at power conditioner as well including the 15i by Furman and the Torus IS15. Interesting learning experience..
Copied from the Furman site..
My system, including high current...
Awesome :)
Exciting stuff
**i have sold my 706v since purchase of 716v. Currently using in a 3.1 channel setup with CC700 and JLAUDIO sub (pretty sweet) ..
3.1 is ideal for now. However,...
Not able to listen to them, that's a bummer :)
Be interesting hearing you review/opinion of them

Hope you enjoy it Alien ! ..
Have an awesome holiday everyone ; )
Bought Ipad mini for the missus .. ; ) (gee, I hope she doesn't read this) ...
And for the man of the house (yes!, it is I)

Noticed recently what hifi named the audiolab 8200 cdp of the year, 2011
Haha..yeah. Some kinda funky space material that landed on earth or something ;)
I will check the granite idea next visit into town, sounds interesting, effective and looks pretty darn awesome too...
cool, thanks suave
I like the Audio Alchemy sound, no question. But it is a noisey amp however, hum, buzz when turned on and off, in it's idle state ..etc.. Beautiful sounding amp though. I have...
Hello ..
Yes, things are going well. I am enjoying. I have a 2 channel amp attached and this has really enhanced the performance. These speakers (I guess, most speakers) sound even better with...
It's going well with the 716v's. Set them up last week, been running them pretty much since than. Opening up nicely now and do expect them to continue to do so with continued break in. Am pleased...
Harrow .. ; ) (aka, hello)
I demo'ed the 714V. Nice sounding speaker. Fuller, broader that the standmount 706V, with nice bass as well. Not an overwhelming, bloated bass .. which I prefer. Very...
The NAD would be cheaper. Depending on one's preference, However I think the Arcam is a better sounding amp. Nice if you can find a good deal on a used Arcam, that was looked after.
Wow .. really cool. Love it.
I've read a great review from a respected UK outfit on the Monitor Audio BX2. Probably worth a listen. Spendor has a nice bookshelf as well, the S3/5R as I re-call (may wanna double check that, the...
I have been giving thought to attaching a HTPC. I'm wondering if I attach instead an external media HDD via USB to my OPPO BDP 93 for music primarily (ripped CD's and HD music downloads).
I may go for it, the 714v. I should have (perhaps) purchased floor standing initially. Than again, having demoed the 706v at home, I was impressed how much value for money one gets with the 706v, so...
Obvious pride taken bringing your system to higher level. First dibs are the JMLab if you sell ?
: )
Well done
PS, the canvas art above the TV have a familiar look to them
