Actually my brother was looking to get HT (he has a Marantz receiver now) and was impressed by pricing and what he read on-line about quality/price ratio.
That's my way of thinking too. Before i purchased my MRX500 I did extensive listening in store with different speakers and sources. Even then, sound is totally different at home.
