The DVD of "The Eagles Farewell 1 Live From Melbourne" looks very close to Blu-Ray. It surprised me. Now it is available on Blu-Ray as well. I agree with what you said but I guess if it was filmed really well and the lighting etc. was done right it could make a big difference. Plus they already had HD camera's in those days (when The Eagles was filmed). I love Blu-Ray but I wish they'd all be full screen.
