    Question c5 replacement speaker covers

Hi, does anyone know where I can purchase 2 replacement speaker covers for my Energy Connoisseur C5 Loudspeakers?

I'm not handy enough to try to buy kits for this.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum bklyn55!

Have you tried contacting Energy customer support? Their # is 1-866-441-8208 or you can email them at support@energy-speakers.com.

I believe that these speakers have been out of production for a few years now, but it is possible that the new models share the same grilles. If so, you might be able to purchase them directly from the manufacturer.

Otherwise, I'm afraid that the only way might be to construct new replacement grilles. Are you missing the covers altogether or are they just damaged?

BTW - once you respond to this post, it will be moved to the "Speaker" forum under Home Theatre.

Hi, they aren't torn or damaged. There are some stains on them that I can't get off.
Will try to contact the company.
    Thank you for the info..

Have you tried calling Energy/Klipsch customer services? You may be surprised how reasonable manufactures can be, especially if you are the original owner. I'd at least get a quote from them - and they usually will haggle a little bit if you give them a sad story - like my child went crazy with the scissors...LOL.

If you don't have any luck getting replacements from the manufacturer (and since you still have the original grilles), I would really consider fixing them. Cut the old material off with an exacto knife and order some grille cloth from a company like www.solen.ca. There are many companies online that sell replacement cloth. Then simply cut the cloth to rough size and glue it to the old grill frames. It may not look perfect from the inside, but once on the speaker you won't see the imperfections.
