Default question about arcam solo mini

    Hi

We want to buy a sound system for our house largest room 14'x13'. We love the music -we both play the violin, and ours is a ~$3000 budget, which we know is not much for a serious system but we think we can still get something decent. We are thinking of arcam mini solo system -do you think that is a wise decision?

We would greatly appreciate your comments.

    Kind regards

    Carlos & Minerva

Hello Carlos & Minerva and welcome to our forum!

Although I have not personally auditioned the Arcam Solo Mini system, I can say that my experiences with Arcam components have been very positive and lasting (literally!). To put this into perspective, we've reviewed three Arcam components since CANADA HiFi was launched and I've purchased every one after the review These include the ARCAM DiVA CD73 CD Player and ARCAM DiVA A65 Plus Integrated Amplifier, reviewed HERE.

My latest Arcam purchase is the Arcam FMJ AVR600 AV Receiver, reviewed HERE. I am absolutely in love with the sound performance of this receiver!

From the various audio components that I've heard over the years, I find Arcam components to be particularly musical, detailed and able to reproduce everything from the most delicate sounds to articulate bass frequencies.

Much like with other manufacturers, I'm sure that certain design aspects and technology of higher end Arcam components have trickeled down into the Arcam Solo Mini system. But as I always like to recommend, you may want to listen to the system at a store before commiting to a purchase to make sure that it suits your particular taste.

What brand/model of speakers do you plan to run with this sytem?
