Does anyone still buy DVD players?

Now that the majors have eliminated DVD players from their product lines and replaced them with Blu-ray players, will you continue to purchase DVD players for old SD TVs in your house/cottage/etc or will you replace it with a cheap BD player even though you may not be using the "HD" outputs now, but at least be able to play BD content on it?
I should turn this into a poll question...

I recently got a blu-ray player, only because North by Northwest was released in a very nice blu-ray package. Otherwise I'd still be using my DVD player. I definitely would have purchased a Blu-ray player if my dvd player broke, though.

I just purchased a used Oppo 981 for it's dvd-audio playback capabilities. I only have 2 dvd-audio discs, both by Fleetwood Mac, and didn't want to spend too much on a player. I use my Sony Blu-ray player for my SACDs and a htpc for my Blu-ray movies.
