I've said this before and I'll say it again - very impressive work on this Chris!

I've been meaning to follow up on our previous email conversation about featuring your HT in an upcoming issue of CANADA HiFi but I've just been super busy planning TAVES. If you're still interested in having some pics of your HT in the magazine, please email some high resolution pics of your finished room to my personal email (I will send you a PM).

I met Chris for the first time briefly at the 2011 TAVES and we chatted about the possibility of featuring his HT build in the CANADA HiFi magazine. Well, this past week I finally got a chance to see Chris' wonderful creation in person and began putting together a story of the build for the upcoming Apr/May 2012 issue.

It took a great deal of creativity and MacGyver-style thinking to build his dream HT and I think that his story should provide insipration to many CANADA HiFi readers. Look out for this article in the upcoming issue of the mag

Hey Suave / Chris - when you finally did meet up - did you guys get to kick back and actually watch a movie together...if so, what did you choose to watch? Looking forward to reading the article in the next issue of CHF.

We didn't sit down and watch a full movie. I showed him around and explained a bit about the things I did and just generally talked about movies adn home theatre. I then put on Apollo 13 which I love, and tend to use the launch scene as a demo. Then we spend a bunch of time playing Street fighter on my Mame machine which really took me back to high school.

It was great to have to here Suave. I'd still like to have some of you others over for a movie, but that will have to wait a little bit as my wife and I just had our first baby 2 weeks ago. As you can imagine, things are a bit busy here.

Hey Chris - sounds like you had a lot of fun. Congrats on the baby - boy or girl? Yes, I can totally understand, I have three kids myself and the youngest is just 6 1/2 months. In fact, he was probably the youngest attendee at the last TAVES show - just a couple weeks then.
