Toronto and Montreal Record Shows

I'm kicking myself for missing this last show - I had a lot of fun at the last one. Among others, I picked up a really cool E.T. picture record!

mark I'm jealous I didn't go...well, there will be many more! actually...my interest in vinyl has peeked yet again knowing that VPI offers a balanced output option on their turntables. my phono preamp has only balanced inputs...apparently cartridges are "balanced by design" so I'm really really curious to hear how this will sound. I'm getting very tired of overcompressed mixes on CD!!

Sorry SoundGame - I meant to actually take a few pics with my iPhone at least but got completely lost flipping through boxes of records. There will definitely be a next time

Very tempting. I've gotta do some cleanup on my record collection - some old and free stuff in there that I'll never play but it's still always fun to add some new vinyl selections to the mix.
