Streem Audio??

Anyone heard of/used speakers from this manufacturer? I think they are ID only - sold on Ebay, Amazon and website direct by a company called StationStreet in Ontario.

I discovered them last night in my online quest for some decent bipole surrounds to complete the 7-channels of my system - the rest are Boston Acoustics. They have a product called SR-490 that looks pretty good - found some reviews, but not many - StationStreet is a powerseller on Ebay, whatever that means.

I suppose I could go with Polk FXiA4's, on sale this week at FS, but the cost would be about double. Could also get a pair of Paradigm ADP-190s from Gibby's, but they too would cost me about double. Not sure what else is out there in a reasonable range.

Any comments appreciated.

I see streem audio speakers being sold on kijiji in St Catherines for pretty cheap with the disclaimer that they didn't pass the "visual inspection" test. I can't find any independent reviews by reliable sources so I'd have a hard time buying them regardless of price.

To my way of thinking and product I cant touch, feel, listen too needs to have rave reviews by well KNOWN persons in the industry. Streem does not meet that simple criteria.

I agree with AlienTech here - if you can't find any credible reviews of a brand's products than you should probably stay away from it. Pretty well all good products have reviews. No reviews usually = poor quality product.
