Favorite channel icons for Harmony remotes

Many people with Harmony remotes may already know this, but I just thought I’d mention a great site for getting favorite channel icons for Harmony universal remotes with a colour LCD screen.

While this is not an official Harmony site, the icons are all formatted specifically for many of the various models, including the touch screen remotes. (The 800 series icons work perfectly on my 720, and they look great!) The icons for each series of remote are designed and formatted to suit its particular screen resolution. From what I’ve read, the icons for the newer remotes with better screens look amazing.

Simply choose the channel icons you want to import, zip them and download. Once you’ve done that, unzip to a file and then access them from your Harmony software when setting up favorite channels.

There is no charge for this, and if the channel(s) that you want aren’t on the site, email a request to the link on the home page, and they will be added. (I know that this works because I have requested icons in the past, and about a week or so later they were added to the site)

Hey Mark - thank you for sharing this fatastic resource!

I just check out the website and it looks like they even got multiple choices of icons for some of the channels. In the past, I've downloaded the logos from the channel's website and had to convert them to proper size in Photoshop. This turned out to be lenghty process... so I only did a few channels.

I will be updating both my Harmony remotes this weekend!

I just uploaded a whole bunch of channel icons into both my remotes (the 880 and the 1000) this past weekend... and I must say that every one of them looks just great on the remote!

I strongly recommend using http://www.iconharmony.com/icons/ for getting channel icons onto your Harmony remotes.
