That is one heck of a system Drtoronto - thank you so much for sharing this with us!! I love the creative angles in your photos too

11 speakers and 2 subwoofers of mighty Paradigm sound - now that is an achievement! Kind of makes me think of the system that Paradigm demonstrated at TAVES back in September of last year.

I'm very happy to see more of our members posting pics of their systems. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words

Never heard of 11 speakers in 1 system!

How does the Studio 100 with upgraded ver 5 Gpal tweeters and mains work? I have the same speakers, Ver 3, in my system. What is gpal?

GPAL (gold anodized pure aluminum) tweeters v5 are simply the updated tweeters from yours ie the newer model that they use now. It's a simple swap and produces a bit better sound then the older tweeters

    Hi Drtoronot,

Thanks for the link, very interesting reading! The technology and research is iimpressive.

I understand too how sound from in front would be more important than behind, logical.

I heard about upgrading tweeters at the time I bought my speakers, as new prototype tweeters were just being tested by Paradigm. They wouldn't sell me or price any tweeters at the time, cool to see you did it!

    Enjoy!

Great sounding system, Jeff! I never thought the wide speakers would make that much of a difference, but I thought they added to the experience. I'm glad you are enjoying the newly calibrated video. Now you can see the bad guys in the dark hallways and increase your game scores!
