Hi - I am in the research phase looking for a CD player to add to my new system. I've read some reviews (mostly on Amazon) on various Teac players. These are lower end players compared to what I expect most on this forum would be using, but curious whether anyone has any insights at all?

The models I've been looking at are the CD-P1260, P650 and the multi-disc CD-D2610 - looks like the P650 single player has a Burr Brown DAC, the others don't really say (I didn't get into looking up the actual manuals yet).

The other options I've been looking at are a couple of multi-players - Yamaha CDC 697 and the Rotel RCC-1055 (which is discontinued, but a dealer near me has one on clearance for less than $300, when MSRP was about $999!)

I suspect the Rotel is the best of any of these I've named, but I will be running any player through my Yamaha RX-A800, so internal DACs are likely less important, for now, anyway.
