Unfortunately I am only able to make it 1 day, on Friday.
1st day at the show was great. Just a ton of interesting equipment to see and hear. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

I had a great time at TAVES. There were so many standouts that I think next year you should allow us to vote on "Best in Show" etc.
Those folks at Totem had an amazing setup with their surround sound demo. There were tube amps everywhere you would think you were back in the 50s.
I loved the Quad electrostatics, bigger is indeed all about image. But there is something to be said about those Magnapans at 1/10 the cost.
The BluRays and DVDs from AIX Records make me think that Mark Waldrep is really onto something unique. The Bose TV demo was impressive. The PMCs were sporting new drivers making me feel obsolete.
It was a great show on many levels. All the manufacturers were passionate in their presentations and the fact that you could talk to them one to one was a privilege.
Thanks to all for putting on a great show and I am looking forward to TAVES 2013.
Thank you for the nice comments about the 2012 TAVES guys - it sounds like some of you were able to make it out and enjoyed the show! I've finally had some much needed rest after the show and so I'm back on the forum
Numerous magazines/website have already released their coverage of the 2012 TAVES. If you couldn't make it to the show, or didn't get a chance to see everything at TAVES, please give these a read! There are lots of very nice pics included in all these reports including this one below

Had a great time at TAVES again this year. I was especially pleased to sit down with Gary Koh from Genesis Loudspeakers for about an hour on Saturday morning, for what seemed like an almost private audition. Once again I thought that the Sim gear in the Monitor Audio room provided a wonderful synergy...no wonder they chose to pair them up again.
As a Totem owner, I, of course, visited their room, but didn't stay long as I'm not really into on-wall speakers. They did sound wonderful though and it's a great option for when space is limited or you prefer that design aesthetic.
Good to see that Liberty Trading at least had some pricing, although what's with the hand-written paper notes? Pretty unprofessional if you ask me. (ok...rant over).
All in all I had a wonderful time and I'm looking forward to 2013!
John - I love the smell of vinyl in the morning!
