It looks like Roger is rolling out a new guide for owners of certain Rogers digital cable boxes - it's called the Rogers Enhanced Guide. And I for one am pretty excited to see it because the regular Rogers guide is so clunky and out-dated it's not even funny. I guess that's what happens when there's not enough competition in the market...

The new guide is suppose to offer an HD design, an easier way to search for programming, a redesigned Video On Demand (VOD) interface, a redesigned info bar and a weather app.

To see the new guide you have to fill out an online form on the Rogers website which is a bit of a hassle (and a waste of time). Why doesn't Rogers just roll this out to every qualifying box automatically? Once you fill out the form, the guide in your box should be updated within 72 hours.
