This may not be the most known fact but in addition to speakers, Totem also offers its own line of cables.
I just learned about this recently in a conversation with the company's owner Vince Bruzzese, who claims that Totem cables offer great value for the money without any gimmicky technology. Totem cables are also said to provide great performance in longer cable runs.
Has anyone tried any Totem cables in the past?
I'd like to set up my recently purchased Bryston BDA-1 DAC to output sound to two zones (since it offers both XLR and RCA outputs) - my dining room and my patio. James Tanner of Bryston has told me that there will be no loss of performance when using both the XLR and RCA outputs at the same time. The BDA-1 is currently connected with XLR to my dining room system, and I would like to run a longer RCA cable (about 15 feet) to an integrated amp that sits by the door to my patio. I realize that there will be a loss of quality over such a long cable run... but considering that this amp is powering two patio speakers that provide mostly background music I'm okay with it. And hence I'm considering ordering a 15 foot RCA cable from Totem...
