Not true...but maybe depends on the genre you listen to. I listen to mostly new rock/alternative rock, and I'm enjoying them on vinyl!!!

You may want to try shops other than HMV...they probably have limited stock. Independent vinyl stores always seem to have plenty!

I like mostly classic rock (Beatles , Stones , Zep. , Hendrix , Kinks etc.). So all that stuff was obviously recorded all analog. I like newer stuff like Radiohead , Phish etc. I've been led to believe that most new music was not available on L.P. , but that it is changing. Do you know if all new vinyl releases come with mp3 downloads as well ? Do you have a favourite Record store in the GTA that you'd recommend ? Thanks

There are tons of new and classic rock records released all the time Jimi - but like Mike said you just have to know where to look.

A few of my favourite places in Toronto that I visit regularly? Sonic Boom http://sonicboommusic.com/, Sunrise Records (Cloverdale mall) and Rotate This www.rotate.com.
