    Default leveling components

I have a Salamander stand for all my components. It is totally variable on all 4 corners. I have added a Symposium Svelte Plus stand for my table. I have taken great care to insure my CA table is 100% level. On checking elsewhere with my level I find I am slightly outside the bubble on my Nak. Dragon tape deck and my Cambridge Audio 840 CD and 751 BD player. Salamander make solid , stable gear. I assume cassette decks are no worry (they were in cars for many years after all, and now CD players) for being 100% level so my question is primarily a CD/DVD issue. Is being slightly outside the bubble anything that will effect performance?

As long as it reads fine I don't think it would be a problem. It could definitely be a problem for a TT but cars have Dvd players as well. May I ask what you think of the "Cambridge Audio 751BD Player." I am especially interested in it for the audio features. I am thinking of getting one in the near future , Thanks.

A turntable should definitely be as perfectly level as possible luteman... but I wouldn't worry about a CD/DVD/Blu-ray player being slightly off-level as this should not affect the performance to any degree.

Hi, I would recommend Cambridge gear without hesitation. I moved up to the 751BD from the 650BD because of the dedicated 2-channel outs, C. Audio had upgraded the audio quality significantly. I am a die hard 70's prog nut (ELP, Yes etc.) and have a good collection of concert DVD's that were not 5.1 to begin with. You will not be disappointed.
