    Default Spin-Clean

Hi folks, I promised a review of the Spin-Clean a while back and i have just recently found time to put it together.

The kit contents are shown in the photo below:

And I have put together a review with more photos on my website: Spin-Clean vinyl record and LP washing system.

I purchased my Spin-Clean from AudioBasics and at $80 is inexpensive relative to the high priced automatic cleaners. Unlike the auto cleaners the spin-clean is manual so it is best suited for small to medium sized record collections and for cleaning in batches. The spin clean does an excellent job and I have no problem recommending it to vinylphiles.

Let me know if you have any questions and I will try to answer them.

Wonderful review Gio! I've been wondering about one of these for a while and your review "sold me" on one

I've been using the Spin-Clean system for about a year, and I agree with the conclusions of Gio's review. It's one of the best and most cost-effective accessories a vinyl enthusiast can obtain. Money well spent!

Good review! I find that the first play after cleaning is crackly. I guess this is static, and that your zero-stat cured this.

It gets quite dry here in the winter and with carpets, the zero-stat is almost a must. The gun is $100.

    Cheers
