Do you have a problem with ARC on your mrx avr?
I was surfing around and noticed a post that was made by a member on another forum concerning ARC. Here's a portion of what was stated by the owner of the European model mrx-300:
ARC is only applying correction to the Left, Centre, and Right channels.
It is NOT correcting the Subwoofer re-directed bass of the above channels.
It is NOT correcting the LFE Subwoofer channel.
It is NOT correcting the Surround channels (Surrounds, Re! ars, Heights).
Apparently, Anthem did not dispute the poster's findings and is trying to prepare updated firmware for DSP2.
I sent an email to Anthem Tech Support to ask about the issue. They responded by sending me a link to some beta firmware; however, the link does not work. Tech Support may have given me the wrong link or they pulled the file due to other issues. I'm really not sure.
I really love my mrx receiver and I'm only posting this to let others know that they may be affected by this issue.

Thanks for sharing this with us audit13. No one of this forum has complained about the ARC but if anyone ever comes across an issue with it, this thread can serve to provide a solution.
The latest Anthem MRX firmware updates can be found on this page (for both North American and European models):

I'm not sure if the update that fixes the issues above is already on this page... but if not, I'm sure it'll be there soon.

There were 2 problems that I know of (both of which cannot be corrected using the firmware from Anthem website):
1) ARC settings were only being applied to the l, c, and r. Sub and surrounds were not being equalized; and
2) 192/24 files would not play properly if ARC is turned on.
In order to get the fix for these issues, you would have to send an email or place a call to Anthem tech support in order to get the beta 50.24 firmware.
Hope this helps clarify things.
