    Default Audio Desk CD Improver

I have seen various reviews that proclaim the vast improvements of this unit and am curious what anybody else's experiences with this device are. You "shave off" the outer edge of a CD making it perfectly round and blacken it with a marker. Has anyone else used it and found it worth looking into? I understand it also works on DVD and BD as well. Thanks.

No experience but I would have thought optical discs would be near to perfect round already? Now the black marker might make sense to reduce the laser light diffraction across the horizontal plane of the disc and into the transport area but I would not have expected this could make any significant difference - interesting, at least.
