Daber Audio Transparent 1.8 Single-Driver Loudspeaker

Some go by the saying “more is better” but every once in awhile a speaker company takes a different position, going with a single-driver model.  Daber Audio has recently released it’s Transparent 1.8  loudspeaker (T 1.8).  The T 1.8 is a single driver design with a side-car DSP unit.  The driver is a pulp/kevlar hybrid and utilizes a solid copper phase plug.  The speaker was designed for critical 2-channel listening and the enclosures are fully handcrafted.  You can give the neighbours Ferrari some competition for vibrant red (like the model shown) or take a more classical route, perhaps with an optional exotic wood veneer.  You won’t be giving up much in bandwidth if the claims hold true, as the Transparent provide a rated 30Hz - 21kHz.  And yes, that’s from a single driver.
